Prescribe your structures a diet

Allow to me to make proposals for a reporting system and an operation scheduling. Under circumstances you find out that you can do without a controller. It is one of my goals to do my job and give advice in such a transparent way, you won't need another specialist to fulfil your builder-owner's duties.

In addition to my qualification as an expert for appraisement I'm not limited to general commercial advice. Already during my study I engaged myself in the subject of the building costs. At that time one part of my diploma thesis dealt with the possibilities of a plausibility check between the levels cost estimate, calculation, quotation and final report of cots according to the German standard of DIN276.

Without activity, nothing moves

It has to annoy every site manager to fix dates and than just notice without any consequence, when these target dates have elapsed. If he acts like this he loses any possibility to take countermeasures when fixed periods are endangered. " Fierce letters " may improve the appearance, but if there is no understanding for the way collaboration works, or if there are no reprisals, such letters will be fruitless. Necessarily this requires to work: to check the progress on the building site to amend the order of events even before a delay has consequences, to prepare what is necessary to bring another contractor into operation and finally, to give notice to badly working companies. I want to avoid any passiveness as it could be derived from the common concept of the "Objektüberwachung".

Experience is nice, structure is better

For ten years I have been working on the builder-owner's side and for nine years within the construction management. Besides, the acquired organization of my own work, with experienced processes, tools and samples appears important to me. As concerns the mentioned " fierce letters ", I have a home-grown database which gives a mobility to me so that I could even send them immediately from the building site.
